About 8 years ago, we set out to find a small business to own and operate. As luck would have it, we found General Store 45. It's been an unbelievable ride so far.

The first year we experienced struggles trying to figure out how to run a retail shop, but we had an amazing staff that helped support the transition.

The second year we survived pandemic shutdowns and it was our amazing regulars that helped keep the lights on.
The last couple years we've experienced amazing growth and built up our customer base.

Now we are opening a second location and have rebranded to The General Store making it even more our own.

Again, our amazing staff and loyal customers have helped provide us with the encouragement to find a way to bring the best possible "mom and pop" shopping to beautiful Historical Downtown Littleton, Colorado.

We hope to see you soon! At this location and our new one!

We're thrilled to announce that The General Store is coming to the vibrant Lower Highlands neighborhood! After the tremendous success of our Littleton location, we knew it was time to bring our curated selection and warm hospitality to the heart of LoHi. This new location will be a celebration of community, craftsmanship, and the unique character that makes Denver special.

Our team has been working tirelessly to create a space that honors the spirit of The General Store while embracing the energy and creativity of the Lower Highlands. We can't wait to welcome you through our doors and share in the excitement of this next chapter.

Stay tuned for more details about our grand opening. Something wonderful is coming soon to your neighborhood.
